MGH PANS/PANDAS COVID Survey Study

ELIGIBILITY AND PURPOSE SNAPSHOT:

Parents with children who have been diagnosed or suspected PANDAS or PANS in order to determine how the pandemic has affected their symptoms.

Massachusetts General Hospital and Dr. Kyle Williams, Director for the Pediatric Neuropsychiatry and Immunology Clinics, are seeking survey respondents for the research study, Investigating the Impact of the Coronavirus Pandemic on Children with PANS/PANDAS.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the pandemic has impacted children with Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS) or Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS).

This IRB-approved study is seeking to gain as many responses as possible, and anticipate receiving over 500 responses total. This survey is completely anonymous, and the survey will retain no link to the participant. There is no compensation for participation in this study.

This survey consists of roughly 200-400 questions depending on the participant’s responses. It should take about 40-60 minutes to complete.
