The PANS/PANDAS Research Consortium is a diverse group of clinicians and researchers from complementary fields of medicine with vast experience and interest in PANS/PANDAS.

The PANS consensus statement proposes the diagnostic criteria and evaluation strategies for determining PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome), the umbrella syndrome in which PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcus) nests under.
