A prestigious university is looking to isolate the strain(s) of strep that may be implicated in PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections), a subset of PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome). Recent technological advancements have made it possible to identify the potential trigger(s), but investigators need strep specimens from recent onset patients for the study. This is why we are surveying you to understand how you swab test for strep in suspected or confirmed new cases of PANDAS.

This brief survey is intended for clinicians that have the ability to perform a swab for strep in the clinical setting. Your responses will help us develop better studies to help children and families with PANDAS/PANS.
